A table lamp built a little differently

Five solid wood flutes give the base its shape, with a second wood used at the center for contrast. The lamp shown pairs maple with walnut.

Built from five flutes

The base is not turned from a single block of wood. It is made from five separate flutes set around a contrasting center, with a little open space between each one.
